MelaWood® SupaTexture™ has a top face of melamine-impregnated décor paper in a deep structure finish, while its reverse side is in a matching décor with a PEEN finish. These are bonded to a quality SupaWood® core for durability and strength.
Adding MelaWood® SupaTexture™ to a space’s design can enhance its aesthetic appearance. The combination of its textured surface and range of rich designs will add depth and movement to a room.
MelaWood® SupaTexture™ works well when partnered with a solid colour from the MelaWood® range, like MelaWood® SupaMatt™ and MelaWood® SupaGloss™. This contrast creates even more movement in the space as light bounces from one surface to another.
As MelaWood® SupaTexture™ is locally manufactured by PG Bison, it’s readily available with technical support a phone call away.
A hot-coated polyurethane (PUR) is applied to MelaWood® with a SupaWood® core before the top coating is matted using the latest technology, specialised Excimer lamps and cured with ultraviolet (UV) light.
MelaWood® SupaMatt™ is supplied with a protective film to protect the matt face during handling and processing, so your finished product arrives on site in pristine condition. The reverse side is a matching décor in a NATURAL TOUCH finish.
For that luxurious look, MelaWood® SupaMatt™ is the ideal choice for a premium matt surface.
Hot-coated polyurethane (PUR) is applied to MelaWood® with a SupaWood® core and then cured using ultraviolet (UV) light to produce a durable, high-gloss surface with good wear and scratch resistance.
This technology also gives MelaWood® SupaGloss™ its consistent stability and visual depth.
MelaWood® SupaGloss™, locally manufactured by PG Bison to international standards, gives you the assurance of a readily available product, consistent in colour and surface finish. You will never have to worry about one batch of boards not matching the next or discolouration.
With matching décor in a PEEN finish on the reverse side, MelaWood® SupaGloss™ is supplied with a protective film to protect the gloss face during handling and processing, so your finished product arrives on site looking as good as expected.
Formica® LifeSeal® combines the strength of BisonBord® as its core, with the durability of Formica® high-pressure laminate (HPL) for its surface.
Formica® HPL is made by fusing a specific number of resin-impregnated paper sheets, depending on the final thickness required, using heat and pressure. This process produces a thin, water-resistant sheet of material. After manufacturing, HPL still needs to be bonded to a supporting substrate.
The LifeSeal® strip on the worktop stops water from seeping into the BisonBord® core, reducing the risk of swelling and delamination. This helps keep your surface solution functional and looking good for a long time.
PG Bison’s locally produced Formica® LifeSeal® Worktops offer a modern design aesthetic with a range of styles to choose from – whether you’re looking for a textured or gloss finish. Plus, they’re a much more affordable option than other countertop materials.
